Orange Partner Camp provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into how the developer community and Orange work together to develop consumer and business applications. This event takes place twice a year.

At Orange Partner Camp, Faro, Orange was joined by handset and platform vendors, as well as hundreds of developers, SIs, aggregators and publishers.  Attendees had  the opportunity to mix and mingle with the whole partner community throughout the three-day event, as well as meet with senior Orange spokespeople from the devices, content, and innovation teams.

Few other partner events offer such an open environment for developers to work directly with operators, and this year, Orange’s major focus was on opening up APIs.  A number of sessions looked at new innovations on the mobile, including VOD, music and TV. Orange is now ‘more than mobile’ however, and there were also sessions focusing on services for the Digital Home, such as interactive IPTV.

The next Orange Partner Camp will take place in Florida.

What is Orange Partner?

Orange Partner is a programme that builds, nurtures, leverages, influences & manages the 3rd party community, allowing 3rd parties to develop for, learn from, buy from, sell to, sell through, and support Orange France Telecom Group in the areas of mobile, fixed-line, broadband and web-based communications services.

The 60,000 members of the free, global programme are either existing or potential partners of Orange France Telecom Group … or both. They have either a technical or a commercial interest in working with Orange … or both. 

Orange Partner started in 2004 as a mobile developer programme.  As the Orange brand expanded to become ‘more than mobile’, the programme followed suit. Working closely with other France Telecom programmes and initiatives in mobile, fixed-line, broadband and web-based communications services, particularly in the rapidly-growing area of social networking,  web 2.0 and Software as a Service SaaS, Orange Partner services and encourages this growing community of 3rd parties...
